The Future of Government 2030+ final event will be hosted by MEPs Brando Benifei (S&D), Ivan Jakovcic (ALDE) and Franc Bogovic (EPP) at the European Parliament. An interactive back to back session and exhibition will follow at the European Commission premises in Berlaymont.

It will give the opportunity to present the results of FuturGov 2030 project which aims to analyse governance trends in our rapidly changing digital society and develop strategies to better prepare the future of policy-making.

More importantly, it will be the starting point of a topical debate in view of the European Parliament elections of May 2019 on ways to ensure  transparent, accountable and inclusive government which puts citizens first.

The project is led by DG JRC EU Policy Lab/ Foresight, Behavioural Insights & Design for Policy Unit in collaboration with DG CNECT eGovernment and Trust Unit and the active involvement of more than 100 students and staff from six European design schools.

The Final event will gather various stakeholders, policy makers, industry representatives, academics and design practitioners from all over Europe.
