The 5G Community Conference 2025 will bring together the 5G & Edge Cloud for Smart Communities and 5G Corridors communities in a cluster-style meeting designed to foster collaboration and exchange.
During the conference – which will be hosted by the 5G for Smart Communities Support Platform in collaboration with the European Commission, DG CNECT, and the European Health and Digital Executive Agency (HaDEA) – participants will explore how 5G large-scale pilots are contributing to Europe’s digital infrastructure, including use cases in healthcare, cross-border projects, and urban connectivity.
Panelists, including representatives from various telecom operators, will debate how Europe’s digital connectivity ecosystem can grow around three pillars: leadership, innovation, and global competitiveness.
The programme will also examine how Europe can accelerate the adoption of 5G and 6G towards 2030 and beyond, including through exploring business models for Smart Communities and 5G Corridors.
The event will conclude with three interactive working groups, where participants will have the possibility to engage on topics such as: scaling 5G infrastructure deployment, advancing smart city solutions, and shaping innovative investment models for 5G pilots.
