The theme of the conference is Sustainable access to digital geospatial records in the digital future. This will be a 2-day hybrid event that will bring together and connect stakeholders, geospatial data producers, archives, data repositories, solution providers and their users.
We welcome contributions from participants around the following topics:
- Sustainable access to geospatial records in the digital future (Geospatial role in the digital economy, AI and GeoAI applications, Green Transition initiative of EU, etc.)
- Geospatial records (Documentation requirements, metadata, interoperability aspects of sustainable access, applicable standards, etc.)
- Best practices, tools and solutions for the preservation and reuse of Geospatial records time series
- Is the future digital and how? (Future needs, issues and ways forward, Round table discussion and conclusion)
If you are interested in contributing with your knowledge, the call for papers for the conference is open until the 7th of April 2023.
The organisation would like the meeting to be as interactive, diverse, and inclusive as possible, so different types of contributions are welcome.
