The workshop will bring together experts from across the edge ecosystem to exchange insights and discuss key developments shaping the sector.
Discussions will cover:
- The study’s latest EU edge deployment data, providing detailed insights that complement the State of the Digital Decade report
- Barriers to edge deployment and policy options to accelerate adoption across Europe.
- The Observatory’s edge node taxonomy, with a focus on security and climate neutrality criteria
- The EURO-3C project and its work to build a federated Telco-Edge-Cloud infrastructure supporting European digital sovereignty
Registration is possible until 28 May 2026. The event will take place in DG CNECT premises in Brussels. Online participation is possible for the first part of the event.
The Edge Observatory (2024-2027) is a study monitoring the deployment of edge nodes across the EU in support of the Digital Decade target of 10,000 climate-neutral, secure nodes by 2030.
