The European Digital Connectivity Awards 2026 will recognise outstanding projects that are helping to advance Europe's Digital Decade connectivity objectives.
The winners will be announced during the European Digital Connectivity Awards Ceremony, taking place on 2 December 2026 in Brussels. The Awards celebrate successful initiatives deploying high-capacity digital connectivity infrastructure across Europe and provide an opportunity to showcase projects that are improving connectivity for citizens, businesses and public administrations.
Organised by the European Commission, the Awards aim to highlight projects of all sizes and technologies that have demonstrated significant progress in implementation and are delivering tangible benefits. They recognise excellence in innovation, inclusion and cross-border cooperation while promoting best practices in digital connectivity deployment across Europe.
Projects will be recognised in three categories:
- Excellence and innovation in deployment of Gigabit-Ready Infrastructure
- Champions in addressing the digital divide in rural and remote areas
- Cross-border and international connectivity
