
This is a call for proposals for EU action grants in the field of AI under the Digital Europe Programme (DIGITAL). Until 2nd of September 2025, interested organisations will be able to submit proposals for a wide range of topics, including for the Support to the secretariat for the Alliance on Processors and Semiconductor Technologies.
What is the objective of the industrial Alliance?
The Alliance on Processors and Semiconductor Technologies gathers relevant stakeholders, including industry, Member States representatives and other experts, with relevant activities in the EU and EEA in view of strengthening Europe’s industrial capacities in the design and manufacturing of advanced processors and other electronic components.
In particular, it will identify current gaps in the production of microchips, as well as the technology developments needed for the European microchips ecosystem to thrive and therefore increase Europe’s digital sovereignty.
What is the call topic about?
The Commission is looking for dedicated applicants who would support the activity of the Alliance by running its Secretariat.
The Secretariat will work with the Commission in making the Alliance a sustainable stakeholder platform that will deliver on its objectives. It will offer administrative support to the Alliance’s members, working groups, steering committees and the relevant events and meetings.
What will be presented at the info session?
On Friday 11th July, the European Commission is organising an info session about this DEP call.
