Unit DG CONNECT C1 is organising an Information and Networking event on <strong>13 and 14 February 2014</strong> in <strong>Brussels</strong> to present the <strong>e-Infrastructure</strong> part of the <strong><u><a href="http://ec.europa.eu/programmes/horizon2020/en/h2020-section/european-research-infrastructures-including-e-infrastructures">Horizon 2020 Research Infrastructures</a></u> <u><a href="http://ec.europa.eu/research/participants/data/ref/h2020/wp/2014_2015/main/h2020-wp1415-infrastructures_en.pdf">Work Programme 2014-15</a>.</u></strong>
The Information and Networking event will take place in the Meeting Room 0A, at the Borschette Building, 36 rue Froissart, Brussels. The first day detailed presentations will be given on the Work Programme, along with time for questions and answers. The second day, the Horizon 2020 Rules for participation will be explained and in the afternoon networking sessions will be organised.
The event is an opportunity to learn about the e-Infrastructure topics. You will also have the opportunity to hear about new ideas for projects and to share your ideas, or just to present yourself and your expertise. Furthermore, discussion corners will be available for area specific discussions (HPC, data and computing, VRE, skills). Lastly, you will be able to discuss face-to-face with Project Officers who will be in charge of the topics.

The recorded sessions will be available via the same webpage approximately one week after the event.
Attention: The event will be filmed and the images of part or of the whole event may be web cast and/or recorded. Full speeches or parts of them may be reused for internal documentation on in any public communication activity or pedagogical project. Participation to this public conference means that participants grant their permission to being filmed and no restriction fee will be asked for any use or reuse of the recorded images.
