This conference will focus on the tasks at hand and future challenges for policy-makers and the industry, with detailed discussion on implementation of the Electronic Communications Code, deployment of high capacity fixed broadband and 5G as well as future developments in Internet of Things, connected mobility and smart cities. The event will close with a keynote session in which the role and relevance of competition policy in the telecoms and technology sectors will be debated, with a keynote speech from William Kovacic, Professor global competition policy at George Washington University.
