The aim of the conference is to encourage participation and promotion of collaborative scientific, industrial, naval, maritime and academic actions among individual researchers, practitioners, navy staffs, members of existing associations, academia, shipping companies, standardization bodies, including government departments, international organizations and agencies, public and private sector in general, regarding Cyber Security in the maritime domain and Cyber Defense Operations.
Papers are invited on the topics of the conference. Interested speakers should submit an abstract of their paper by the 4th of September 2020. A short Curriculum Vitae and a brief overview of the organization, institution or company that they represent is also required. Subsequent to the conference, selected papers may be considered for publication in the NMIOTC’s Journal. Authors will be given the opportunity to update their papers before publication in the Journal. Abstract should be no longer than 250 words and clearly indicate the provisional title, the authors and a synthesis of the content of the paper. Provisional acceptance of papers will be made on the basis of the abstract and final acceptance will be given after consideration of the draft papers.
Registration should be made on NMIOTC’s official website's dedicated registration area, no later than on Friday, 18 September 2020. A confirmation message will be sent within 3 working days.
Among the speakers will be a representative of the European Commission: Jakub Boratyński, Head of Unit at DG Connect's Cybersecurity and Digital Privacy Policy Unit and Acting Director CNECT H- Digital Society, Trust and Cybersecurity.
