The STARTS initiative funded by the European Commission, merges Science, Technology, and the ARTS ((S+T)*ARTS). It attempts to remove the boundaries between art and engineering to stimulate creativity and innovation.

The STARTS programme has been invited to participate to the Milano Digital Week, a new event promoting global and interdisciplinary discourse in the fields of Art, Design and Technology.

The STARTS TALKS will take place on the 17th of March. The panel will gather Paolo Cesarini, Head of Unit at the European Commission who will present the STARTS programme, Stefano Boeri, President of La Triennale di Milano, members of STARTS-funded projects, and Salvatore Iaconesi and Oriana Persico, two digital artists and collaborators of Agenzia per l’Italia Digitale.

The START ACADEMY is a workshop taking place on the 18th of March and addressed to children aged 7 to 13.

During the two days, participants will be able to discover the STARTS PRIZE, the VERTIGO and WEARSUSTAIN projects and see how innovation can be stimulated by merging Science and Technology with the Arts.
