In order to make sense of data and support data ecosystems, industrial data spaces offer opportunities for companies to move to data-driven business models.
Deploying industrial data spaces will be based on an inventory of existing data platforms for manufacturing and a blueprint for manufacturing-specific building blocks which could contribute to the long-term convergence of existing and new data-related initiatives in manufacturing.
This workshop explores examples of technical infrastructure for data sharing and re-use within the manufacturing sector and across relevant sectors, as well as data governance mechanisms.
The objective of this workshop is to reflect on how embryonic data spaces for manufacturing should progressively accelerate into a pan-European manufacturing data space and reach out to a very large user base, in particular SMEs.
The workshop is composed of presentations from the EC and external stakeholders. We invite everyone to participate and look forward to an active and fruitful discussion.
