The European Commission is organising a series of workshops around some core issues for the deployment of CCAM.
Data collection, access and sharing are at the core of many services linked to the vehicle data ecosystem. Data sharing and reuse can enhance the development of these new services but, to enable this development, a number of conditions for data sharing must be met.
Stakeholders have already been consulted on the question of data sharing and data access in the last years. A public consultation has been running in 2017 on data sharing practices. Several workshops have already taken place regarding data access and data sharing in various contexts (namely B2B data sharing, access and re-use of data for public policy purposes). Further workshops took place in the context of B2B data sharing (12 January 2018) or data collection in the context of ITS services and privacy (11 January 2018).
With this specific workshop, the Commission would like to explore more specifically the conditions needed to enhance data sharing in the frame of Connected Cooperative Automated Mobility.
The workshop will consist of a set of panel discussions and will be prepared with your input.
Please fill in the questionnaire open until 20 January 2018.
Registration is now closed.
For those who cannot attend, the event will be web streamed at the following link: https://webcast.ec.europa.eu/ccam-data
