Recording of the online discussion on the Web Accessibility Directive - 23 September 2020

The Directorate-General for Communications Networks, Content and Technology co-organised, with the European Disability Forum, an online discussion on the Web Accessibility Directive, on 23 September 2020.
By that date, all public sector websites across Europe had to be accessible for persons with disabilities; mobile apps will follow by 23 June 2021.

Key stakeholders highlighted achievements and remaining challenges in terms of practical implementation of web accessibility from different perspectives, including policy makers, Member States, activists, users, academia and accessibility professionals.
With the participation of Commissioner Dalli, Commissioner Breton, and Vice-President of the European Parliament Dita Charanzová.
