Report on Digital Action Day (September, 2014)

The Digital Action Day took place on 29 September 2014 in Brussels, Belgium. It focused on how digital technologies are changing traditional EU industries and policy areas. This is how our OISPG rapporteur Visnja Istrat saw this year's edition of the event

More than a thousand distinguished ICT experts, European Commission policy-makers and NGO representatives attended the event at the Brussels Square Meeting Centre, where Neelie Kroes, former Vice-President of the European Commission responsible for Digital Agenda, gave a summary speech of her work.

Open Innovation 2.0 concept was also well presented and discussed at numerous sessions and debates during Digital Action Day 2014, which highlights its value and importance.
