Southern Mediterranean dialogue on Electronic Communications & the Information Society

The <em>Southern Mediterranean dialogue on Electronic Communications &amp; the Information Society</em> was held on November 18/19 in Athens, Greece.</p>

<font face="T1" size="3"><font face="T1" size="3">This event was a first of its kind and aimed at bringing together the various stakeholders involved in </font></font><font face="T1" size="3"><font face="T1" size="3">ensuring the right regulatory environment to facilitate the creation of a harmonized and investment </font></font><font face="T1" size="3"><font face="T1" size="3">friendly environment in the electronic communications sector, and accelerate the development of </font></font><font face="T1" size="3"><font face="T1" size="3">the Euro-Mediterranean Information Society. It therefore supports and further improves Information </font></font><font face="T1" size="3"><font face="T1" size="3">Society cooperation between Europe and the Mediterranean Partner Countries, building on the </font></font><font face="T1" size="3"><font face="T1" size="3">recommendations and achievements of cooperation among regulators and other regional initiatives.</font></font></p>
