Tom De Koninck is Senior Consultant at TNO and is responsible to bring applied research on immersive human communications to the market. His main work areas are eXtended Reality and Social VR. He was Board Member of the VR Industry Forum from 2019 to 2021. He has been speaking about Social VR and eXtended Reality at VRDays, Laval Virtual and other occasions.
Tom has a long experience in the telecommunications industry. He has been introducing consumer and business products in Belgium for KPN Belgium and Belgacom International. When he moved to live in The Netherlands, he continued in several roles at Vodafone and Liberty Global.
