The AI Office will contribute to the India AI Impact Summit 2026 in New Delhi, a global forum following the Bletchley Park, Seoul and Paris AI summits.

In the context of a rapidly evolving technological and geopolitical, the EU’s presence underlines its commitment to shape global AI developments with a strong focus on innovation that truly benefits our economies and societies. This is in line with the summit’s theme of People, Planet and Prosperity.

The AI Office is expected to host 2 dedicated high-level panel discussions during the summit, taking place on 20 February:

  • One panel will focus on innovative AI solutions. Entrepreneurs and government representatives will highlight how collaboration between AI innovators and governments can deliver concrete solutions and modernise public services. This includes EU initiatives such as AI Factories.
  • The other panel will bring together global figures in AI to present their views on the challenges powerful AI poses. This panel will also highlight the EU General-Purpose AI Code of Practice, outlining its role in supporting innovation while ensuring safe, transparent and trustworthy AI, and positioning it as a global reference.

Both panels will feature remarks by the Executive Vice-President Henna Virkkunen and will be moderated by Lucilla Sioli, Director of the EU AI Office. The panels illustrate the EU’s comprehensive approach to AI which combines governance, innovation and international engagement.

More information on these sessions and the AI Impact Summit will be shared closer to the event.
