It will also create new opportunities for European business, supporting prosperity, technological progress and economic security.
International cooperation is an essential part of strengthening our tech competitiveness and, in turn, will contribute to the EU’s tech sovereignty. The EU's signature comes shortly after the Commission adopted the Technological Sovereignty Package. Among other things, the package included the Chips Act 2.0, which aims to build resilience in our semiconductor supply chains.
