From 12 to 14 November, the Digital Skills EU Days will take place in Brussels (registrations are still open). The event will promote a discussion on the challenges and opportunities related to digital skills, with the launch of the Advanced Digital Skills State-of-Play report, which provides a comprehensive analysis of the current landscape across the EU in the context of the Digital Decade.

During the event, participants will also have the opportunity to learn more about best practices in the field, such as data-driven talent pipelines in industry, accreditation and skills recognition, and scaling and sustainability in advanced programmes. Another panel will focus on AI talent development and reskilling as an opportunity to attract new ICT profiles.

The event will also feature the first Women in Digital Summit. It will include the publication of the Women in Digital Index 2025 and offer space to reflect on steps for change, define action points, and share insights from data on the women-in-digital pipeline. The programme includes workshops on transforming ICT education and fostering leadership empowerment.

Organised by the EU-funded projects Digital Skills and Jobs Platform, LEADSx2030 and WIDCON, this three-day event is coordinated by DG CONNECT Units G.2 (Interactive Technologies, Digital for Culture and Education) and G.3 (Accessibility, Multilingualism and Safer Internet). Anchored in the Union of Skills  and the AI Continent Action Plan, this cooperation between projects and the European Commission aims to boost Europe’s global leadership and competitiveness through a highly skilled workforce and strengthen its capacity to lead in advanced digital technologies.
