As part of developing the eArchiving Academic Curriculum, the eArchiving Initiative has assessed the availability of eArchiving courses across European higher education. In 2024, our investigation revealed that 123 programs from 89 institutions across 28 countries offered 185 courses incorporating eArchiving components. Typically, these components constituted minor elements, often a module or similar, within courses focused on Information Management, Digital Media, Digital Humanities, and Cultural Heritage/Digital Heritage. The majority of these programs were MA programs (88%), with fewer MSc programs (12%) offering such courses. Predominantly taught in English, French, and German, there were 50 courses in English, 22 in French, and 10 in German.
