An annual celebration of European cinema, the initiative aims to bring Europe closer to citizens through free screenings of films in cinemas across the EU, with a special focus on small cities.

In this seventh edition of the European Cinema Nights, 88 cinemas across Europe will open their doors to audiences to enjoy the diversity of European cinema culture. Alongside the free screenings, Q&As with film crews, debates with specialists and live concerts will be organised to complete these exceptional cinematic experiences.

Each year, the European Cinema Nights sees over 10,000 Europeans enjoy free cinema screenings of films from across different eras and genres, highlighting the richness and range of European cinema.

The initiative is organised by the Creative Europe MEDIA programme – the EU programme supporting the European audiovisual sector – and Europa Cinemas.
