It facilitates the exchange of experiences among participating medical centres in assessing AI tools in clinical workflows, contributing evidence on usability, safety and effectiveness, and engaging in structured exchange with peer centres, researchers and industry partners.
Participating centres also benefit from:
- capacity-building and training on AI (for example, validation, ethics, interoperability, data management),
- early access to outputs from EU initiatives such as Cancer Image Europe and the EU Cardiovascular Flagship,
- recognition as EU reference sites for AI in healthcare.
Medical centres that want to contribute to the responsible integration of artificial intelligence into clinical screening and diagnostic practice across Europe are invited express their interest.
