New Better Internet for Kids strategy at the Digital Assembly

As part of the Digital Assembly programme, a workshop entitled "Mieux protéger les mineurs sur internet/BIK" will provide an opportunity to present the newly adopted European strategy for a Better Internet for Kids (BIK+) to improve age-appropriate digital services and to ensure that every child is protected, empowered and respected online.

The BIK+ workshop, in English, will run for 2,5 hours on Tuesday, 21 June 2022 at 10.00-12.30 CET and will be split into two panel discussions focusing on the key pillars of the BIK+ strategy, namely ‘protection’ and ‘empowerment and participation’.

Both panels are organised in a multi-stakeholder manner, bringing together representatives from the EU and national policy field, private sector, civil society organisations and BIK Youth Ambassadors – young people who represent European youth and share their ideas and experiences on safer internet.

It is possible to follow the workshop online.
