Work as an expert: Call for expression of interest 2021-2027

The European Union Institutions appoint external experts to assist in the evaluation of grant applications, projects and tenders, and to provide opinions and advice in specific cases. The new call for expression of interest for experts for the programming period 2021-2027 is now open.

EU Prize for Women Innovators

European Commissioner Mariya Gabriel launched the 2021 edition of the EU Prize for Women Innovators. This prize celebrates the women who are smashing stereotypes and breaking boundaries in innovation. Each year, three prizes of €100,000 are awarded, each in the main category, and a fourth prize of €50,000 to a promising ‘Rising Innovator’ aged 30 or younger.

Call for papers: Big Data eHealth applications

The upcoming Special Issue of the Applied Sciences journal issued a call for papers that will be focused on technologies and methodologies in the field of Big Data Analytics for eHealth, also considering their combined use with Internet of Thing (IoT) devices, Artificial Intelligence (AI) methods, and Cyber Security (CS) techniques for the definition of complex systems and architectures for the eHealth domain. A special regard will be paid to papers devoted to the analysis of COVID-19-related Big Data.
