Data Act Legal Helpdesk

The Data Act Legal Helpdesk makes compliance easier, supporting informed decisions, and helping organisations to get the most out of the Data Act.

The Helpdesk is your direct gateway to expert guidance on the Data Act. Simply sign in with EU Login (or create an account), fill out the short request form, and send us your question. You will immediately receive a confirmation from the EU Survey platform, and our team will follow up with a tailored reply to your email.

Designed for all stakeholders, the Helpdesk offers clear and practical guidance on the regulation requirements, rights, and obligations. Using a simple online tool, you can submit questions on topics such as data access, sharing obligations, user rights, cloud switching, interoperability, and more.

Each query is reviewed by our team, and you will receive a tailored reply directly in your inbox. We will reply to your query as soon as possible. While more complex inquiries may require additional time, we aim to provide a response within 15 working days, in accordance with the Code of Good Administrative Behaviour.

Before submitting your request, we invite you to read more about the Data Act, the frequently asked questions, the Data Act explained and the Draft Recommendation on non-binding model contractual terms on data access and use and non-binding standard contractual clauses for cloud computing contracts.
