The European Commission will make €11 million of funding available for 22 new projects seeking to strengthen the European Union's capacity to deter and mitigate cyber-threats and incidents, by employing the latest technologies.

EUR 36 million EU funding available to connect Europe digitally
The 2020-2 Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) Telecom call for proposals is now open, making €36 million available to stimulate and support the deployment of European Digital Service Infrastructures (DSIs) in eight areas. CEF Telecom funding supports projects of common interest that improve the daily life of citizens, businesses and public administrations and contribute to the development of a Digital Single Market by deploying European digital infrastructures across the EU. In 2020, CEF Telecom will provide over €67 million in funding through grants for European Digital Service Infrastructures.
€10.5 million EU funding available for projects stepping up EU’s cybersecurity capabilities and cooperation
The Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) cybersecurity call funds projects that aim to increase the cooperation and the capabilities of actors fundamental for the EU Cybersecurity Strategy in a variety of domains: from coordinated response to cybersecurity incidents and cybersecurity certification to capacity building and public-private sector and institutional cooperation.
8 National coalitions for digital skills and jobs will receive funding from the Connecting Europe Facility Telecom
National Digital Skills and Jobs Coalitions from 8 European countries will receive in total more than €900.000 to upgrade their web presence and connect to the European Platform for Digital Skills and Jobs.
