The sixth meeting of the Horizon 2020 Future Internet Forum (FIF) took place in Ljubljana on June 21st 2018. The FIF meeting took place in parallel of the EUCNC 18 conference, the European Conference on Networks and Communications(18-21 June, Ljubljana).
A key agenda item of the FIF meeting was a consultation session related to the preparation of future R&I initiatives and partnerships in the area of Communication Networks. This session was closely linked to the Next-Generation Internet initiative.

The fifth meeting of the Horizon 2020 Future Internet Forum took place in Luxembourg-Kirchberg on 29 January 2018.

The main goal of the meeting was to exchange views, experiences and to develop common NGI actions for 2018 and beyond on the EU level, in the Member States and the Associated Countries.

The third meeting of the Horizon 2020 Future Internet Forum took place in Brussels on 28 June 2017.

The meeting was dedicated to the Next Generation Internet Initiative (NGI), focusing on the follow up of the three main actions: Select a national NGI Contact Point and assign their role; Populate the NGI interactive map and carry out the relevant stakeholders to register for; Organise an NGI workshop until the end of 2017.

The 12th Future Internet Forum meeting took place in Berlin on 21 October 2014. The main topics of discussion were the 5G Public Private Partnership (national initiatives and testbeds) and the FI-WARE Accelerators Call.

The 11th Future Internet Forum meeting took place in Athens on 18 and 19 March 2014. Main topics discussed were the Future Internet and 5G Public Private Partnerships.
