After 4 weeks of public voting, the decision is in! 48 dynamic European innovators were longlisted for this year's Innovation Radar Prize. 20 of those will now move to the next phase and compete in Innovation Radar Prize final, having succeeded in securing the most votes. Ministerial Declaration on eGovernment - the Tallinn Declaration

All the European Union Member States and EFTA countries signed the 'eGovernement Declaration' in Tallin on 6 October 2017. The declaration was signed during the Ministerial Meeting which took place in the framework of the eGovernement Ministerial Conference. This was chaired by Minister Urve Palo, representing the Estonian Presidency of the Council of the EU and in the presence of Andrus Ansip, European Commission Vice-President for the Digital Single Market.

A focus story on Intrinsic ID, the 2016 Innovation Radar Prize winner has been made by Euronews. Intrinsic ID has developed a technology that provides security for smart devices so even the smallest smart chips and devices can be secured in order to protect its users in their day-to-day lives.

The European Commission has put the spotlight on Europe's most promising digital innovations emerging from EU funded research and innovation projects. Intrinsic-ID from the Netherlands won the 2016 Innovation Radar Prize for its authentication technology. Three other EU-funded innovators secured prizes at the awards ceremony.

The 16 finalists competing for the Innovation Radar Prize 2016 will get to pitch their innovation at the ICT Proposers Day 2016. They will present the plans to get their innovations out of the lab and into the market to the jury composed of a panel of investors and entrepreneurs.
