EU initiative to support cultural and creative sectors recognised at the Global SME Finance Awards

The EU Guarantee Facility in the Cultural and Creative Sectors has won an honourable mention as a “Product Innovation of the Year” at the Global SME Finance Awards 2019. The financing instrument managed by the European Investment Fund received the honourable mention for innovation together with 15 other institutions and companies out of more than 140 applicants. The Guarantee Facility is part of the Creative Europe Programme to enhance access to finance of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the cultural and creative sectors.
