The eighth training webinar of the eArchiving Initiative series will provide an overview of the specifications for E-ARK information packages and examine in detail the requirements which are the backbone of the eArchiving validation framework.

The webinar will explore how the technical interpretation of requirements relates to the validation process and how the framework translates requirements into actionable, code-based validations. Participants will also get insights into the test corpus, which is used to test requirements against concrete information package examples using technical interpretations of the requirements. Finally, the webinar will give an overview of the validators which are currently available to use or integrate with your archival solution.

The training webinar will take place on Thursday, 15 February 2024, 10.00–11.00 CET and will be presented by Sven Schlarb of the Austrian Institute of Technology (AIT).

Practical information about the webinar will be provided once the participant is registered.
