Discovering the Future of Digital with Connect University

Established in 2015, Connect University represents the flagship of the EU Commission’s Directorate General on Communication Networks, Content and Technologies (DG Connect) that aims to spread knowledge about the latest digital trends and prepare the society for the future changes. Connect University informs about the latest digital trends and challenges which are highly linked with EU's relevant policies and serve as a platform for sharing knowledge through thematic events on emerging technologies.

Discover the Future of Digital with CONNECT University

To date, Connect University has organised over 350 inspirational sessions, 5 summer schools on latest technologies, with more than 100 000 participants and online viewers.The project became a cornerstone for policy-making, learning, and knowledge spreading, bringing together EU Institutions and Bodies, industry, academia, international organisations, researchers to reflect on the upcoming opportunities and challenges. 

The sessions often feature eminent international speakers – sometimes even Nobel Prize laureates - discussing about topics placed high on the political agenda, among which artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, online disinformation, advances in medical research, digital 4 sustainability, blockchain, 5G, digital learning.

How to register for the Connect University

Connect University webpage is hosted on the Futurium platform. In order to become a member of the community, you need to create an EU login account. If you already have an EU Login, you can join Futurium and afterwards become part of the Connect University group. Within the group you will find our events, as well as numerous materials on emerging technologies, including videos with experts in the field.
