Digital Skills Talks 11th episode "From policy to practice: AI literacy and the future workforce''

The 11th episode of Digital Skills Talks, an online series hosted by the Digital Skills and Jobs Platform, will explore Artificial Intelligence literacy and its impact on the future workforce. Experts from the European Commission and CEDEFOP will join the Platform team to discuss how Artificial Intelligence is shaping the future of work and why AI literacy is crucial for the workforce. 

About the 11th episode of the Digital Skills Talks

On 3 April 2025 at 9:00 (CEST), the episode ''From policy to practice: AI literacy and the future workforce'' is all about Artificial Intelligence and its growing impact on the workforce and the importance of AI literacy for future job markets. The episode will feature: 

  • Giulia Carsaniga, Policy Officer, EU AI Office, CNECT A4, European Commission 

  • Konstantinos Pouliakas, Expert, Skills and Work, CEDEFOP

Join us as we explore how the European Commission is working to promote trustworthy AI and what this means for jobs and skills. Together with experts, we will discuss key insights from CEDEFOP's recent survey on AI's impact on the labour market, and why workers need to adapt and gain the right skills. We will also look at the role of upskilling and reskilling, especially in light of the AI Act, which highlights the need for AI knowledge among professionals. Additionally, we will explore how vocational education and training (VET) can help workers keep up with the fast-changing digital world and make the most of new opportunities.
