The next calls for Photonics topics, published in the Horizon 2020 Work Programme for 2018-20, were presented during the Info Day that took place on the 8th December 2017. The aim is to maintain and develop the prominent position that European Photonics research and industry have at international level. Also, these final 3 years of H2020 will see further support to core ICT industries as envisaged in the roadmap devised within the Photonics contractual Public Private Partnership (cPPP).

BIOFOS is an EU-funded FP7 project, which has managed to produce an innovative portable, multi-analytic bio-sensing device, combining 4 different technologies to monitor the quality and detect contaminants in olive-oil, nuts and milk, usually performed in specialised laboratories demanding time, effort and money.
