Our responsibility, within the expert group on Quantum Technology Flagship, is to recommend to the Commission a strategic agenda and an efficient model for the future Flagship, by June 2017. To deliver, we need to hear from the community. This is why we organised a workshop in Berlin on 10 November 2016.
QuantERA is a new Cofund Action in Quantum Technologies. With a budget of over 37 million €, including co-funding from the European Commission, QuantERA will support international research projects in the field of Quantum Technologies.
Following the nomination of the chair and of the academic members, and after the publication in September of a dedicated call for selecting industrial members, the Commission Expert Group chaired by Prof. J. Mlynek is now complete with the addition of 12 representatives from key industries and companies.
Following the nomination of the chair, Prof. Mlynek, the Commission has now formally set-up the Commission Expert Group, with 13 very high level academic members, that will provide recommendations on the preparation of the Quantum Technology Flagship .
