The European Commission launches a call for tenders (CNECT/2022/OP/0025 ) to renew its ambition of a trustworthy, data-driven and proactive EU Blockchain Observatory and Forum, building on the existing work and strengthening its analytical and community building dimension, as well as enhancing cooperation with initiatives such as INATBA - International Association for Trusted Blockchain Applications and the EBP – European Blockchain Partnership.

The European Commission launches a call for tenders (CNECT/2021/OP/0019) to contract a consortium to (1) facilitate and operate a pan-European regulatory sandbox for Distributed Ledger Technologies (DLT) in particular blockchain, and (2) provide comprehensive legal advice pertaining to the operation of the core services of the European Blockchain Services Infrastructure (EBSI) and its use cases as approved by the European Blockchain Partnership (EBP).

The call for proposals for Journalism Partnerships aims to help the wider European news media sector become more sustainable and resilient, thus contributing to trustworthy reporting on current affairs, to an informed and inclusive democratic debate, to skills development and employment for news media professionals and journalists.

The main objective of the study is to monitor the progress in the deployment of broadband networks on an annual basis, i.e. to measure primarily the household coverage of different fixed and wireless broadband technologies. The data to be collected should be as of the middle of the year (2022 in the first year).
