We are delighted to invite you to the “eArchiving in Portugal” workshop, a dissemination action of the eArchiving Initiative in collaboration with DGLAB (Directorate-General for Books, Archives and Libraries).
In this pivotal event, the DGLAB will summarise the current legal framework for digital archiving and preservation in Portugal. The experiences of organisations that have successfully addressed challenges of digital archiving will be shared. Additionally, experts from the eArchiving Initiative will discuss how this initiative can support those currently involved in, or planning to engage with, digital archiving.
This event is designed for a wide range of stakeholders, from those facing the challenge (municipalities, central public administration bodies, etc.) to consultants and technology vendors.
The workshop will take place on Tuesday, 25 February 2025, from 14:00 to 16:00 GMT (Lisbon time), and will be held in a hybrid format, allowing participation both virtually through Webex and in person. The Webex link will sent to those who register.
