"European Leadership through Disruptive Technologies: Future and Emerging Technologies towards 2030" aimed at raising awarness among researchers, industry, policy makers, civil society organisations, citizens on how important the Future and Emerging Technologies (FET) Programme is for the European society of tomorrow.
FET have the potential to revolutionise human society. Supercomputers, highly efficient batteries, 2D materials or new cancer treatments are just a few examples of the potential revolutionary achievements that might easily turn into applications accessible to all in the long term. The new knowledge developed by FET research contributes to keep Europe at the forefront of technological innovation and scientific leadership.
This event was organised by the EFFECT project, in cooperation with the European Parliament’s ITRE Committee and European Commission’s DG CNECT.
