The fourteenth eArchiving Initiative training webinar will be conducted in Spanish with multi-language subtitles. It will explore how clients of a solution provider have implemented eArchiving specifications. Since 2019, when nageru Solutions first implemented the IP packet specification, their clients have utilised various eArchiving tools for preservation projects. This webinar will examine their practical implementation in these projects, offering valuable insights into the usage of different specifications. It aims to share crucial aspects relevant to organisations interested in leveraging eArchiving for data preservation and interoperability.

The webinar will examine how the following elements have been used, showing key factors to take into account when using:

  • SIP, AIP and DIP packages. Structures used, conformation of the packages and subsequent use.
  • CITS ERMS and CITS eHealth1 specifications in real projects.
  • Preservation of databases with SIARD.

Finally, it will show how to automate and standardise preservation processes with eArchiving so that they can be made as efficient and sustainable as possible.

The training webinar will be presented by Roberto González of nageru Solutions on Thursday, 20 February 2025, 10.00–11.00 CET. The speakers will deliver the session in Spanish, but automated CC (closed captioning) will be provided during the event.

Practical information about the webinar will be provided once registration is complete.
