A team led by Visionary Analytics and supported by external experts is carrying out a study on the implementation of the 2010 and 2013 Commission’s Access Recommendations and exploring whether and how the guidance to NRAs should be updated. To discuss the study findings and solicit feedback, the contractor will organise a workshop with stakeholders in the presence of the Commission.
The workshop will take place on 9 June. You are cordially invited to participate in the event, which will take place online via the Commission’s WebEx platform. The workshop has two objectives:
- To present the initial findings on the application of the Commission Recommendations respectively of 20 September 2010 on regulated access to Next Generation Access Networks (NGA) and of 11 September 2013 on consistent non-discrimination obligations and costing methodologies to promote competition and enhance the broadband investment environment (NDCM).
- To discuss ideas on the way forward for the revision of the Recommendations
The workshop will be structured around four main themes that are explored in the study (among other topics):
- Approaches towards price regulation
- Non-discrimination obligations
- Access to civil engineering infrastructure
- Migration from copper to fibre
The preliminary agenda of the workshop is provided below. A more detailed agenda with the questions for discussion will be provided closer to the event.
Please register online by 4 June. All registered participants will receive a link to connect to the workshop.
If you encounter any issues registering to the event or have any questions, please contact Ms Audronė Sadauskaitė at audrone@visionary.lt.
