These topics include:

the Spain 5G aid scheme, the Technical Support Instrument (TSI) by DG REFORM, updates on the Digital Decade Report, presentations on 5G rural use cases through Horizon-funded pilot projects, insights from the upcoming CEF2 Digital call 3, discussions on 5G security, and a dedicated session focusing on Moldova and Ukraine: ensuring sustainable connectivity.

Registration for these sessions is open to all members of the European Broadband Competence Offices (BCOs) Network. The season 11 overview agenda is outlined below; a detailed agenda will be made available to participants directly. Unless otherwise indicated, all sessions will be held as online workshops.

The training dates or times may be subject to postponement or adjustment. The BCO Network Support Facility will promptly communicate any such changes to the BCOs.

 

Background

These sessions are organised by the BCO Network Support Facility in partnership with the Directorates-General for Communications Networks, Content and Technology (CNECT); Regional and Urban Policy (REGIO); Agriculture and Rural Development (AGRI); and Competition (COMP). The sessions are part of a capacity-building knowledge-exchange programme aiming to connect and strengthen the BCO Network, support broadband roll-out in urban, rural and remote regions, and contribute to achieving the EU’s digital connectivity objectives.
