A European Movement for Smarter Cities
With its seat in Valencia, the multi-country initiative on digital technologies and services for cities, Networked Local Digital Twins towards the Citiverse EDIC, is the first initiative of its kind that invites cities, regions, and public institutions to be part of the AI-driven digital transformation. With 14 EU countries already on board - including France, Italy, Spain, and the Netherlands—this initiative is growing fast, expecting to bring 100 cities together by 2026. So far, over €80 million has been invested in the Local Digital Twins and Citiverse initiative from the Digital Europe Programme.
