The findings of the present study have been used to support the evaluation of the impact of different policy options to amend the AVMSD in the field of Protection of Minors.
The assessment covers the impacts on different groups of stakeholders (e.g. citizens/consumers, TV broadcasters, on-demand service providers, video-sharing platforms, independent audiovisual content producers, and other industries, audiovisual regulatory bodies).
The study identifies a number of costs and cost savings as well as potential economic and social impacts.
Survey and data gathering to support the impact assessment of a possible new legislative proposal concerning the AVMSD and in particular the provisions on the protection of minors.
