Language Technologies Round Table

In order to have a true Digital Single Market, Europe needs to be "language transparent". The challenges and visions for a language-technology-enabled Europe need to be recognised and acted upon.

On 13 December 2016, experts from major European companies, research centres and universities active in the domain of Languages Technologies (LT) gathered for a consultation workshop on future R&I priorities as part of wider stakeholder outreach activities in this field. The main goal of the round table was to provide valuable input for advising the EC on future R&I activities in this area. The meeting was organised by Unit G3  Learning, multilingualism and accessibility of DG CONNECT.

Presentations given by the participants during the meeting are available here for download.

A comprehensive report of the meeting is available here.
