150 citizens who have been randomly selected in the 27 Member States met in Brussels for the first session of the citizens’ panel on virtual worlds from 24 to 26 February. A summary (.pdf) is published and recordings of the plenary debates are also available.
The second session of the panel takes place online from Friday 10 to Sunday 12 March. Participants will identify, discuss and prioritise values and principles that should guide the development of virtual Worlds, and start exploring fields of actions to make this vision a reality.

The closing session will take place in Brussels from 21 to 23 April. The panel will provide a list of recommendations that will support the Commission's work on virtual worlds and on the future of the internet.
