European Cyber Security Month (ECSM) takes place in October. The European Union Agency for Network and Information Security (ENISA), the European Commission and partners are co-organising the awareness campaign during the month.
The European Cyber Security month is organised for the 3rd time. During this month citizens are invited to participate in the various awareness events in the many European countries. The activities will teach how to secure data and information online, will give a platform to share the good practices on cyber security and will address the cyber-threats among the citizens.
This year's theme: Cyber security is a shared responsibility! STOP.THINK.CONNECT. Every week of the month has a different topic:
1st week (28th September – 4th October): Cyber security Training for employees
2nd week (5th – 11th October): Creating a Culture of Cybersecurity at Work
3rd week (12th – 18th October): Code Week for all
4th week (19th – 25th October): Understanding Cloud solutions for all
5th week (26th – 31th October): Digital Single Market for all
The kick- off event will take place on 29 September in Brussels. It is meant to be a place of encounter for policy-makers, coordinators from Member States and partners.
