CERT-EU issued Cyber Security Guidance in the context of the coronavirus outbreak

The Computer Emergency Response Team for the EU Institutions, bodies and agencies (CERT-EU) is taking the necessary measures to assess the cyber aspects of the coronavirous pandemic. They established a plan to address any potential threat that may affect the cybersecurity and interests of the EU Institutions, bodies and agencies. The purpose of these CERT-EU Security Guidelines is to highlight the various elements of the plan and provide a series of recommendations.

            

 

The Computer Emergency Response Team for the EU Institutions, bodies and agencies (CERT-EU) is composed of IT security experts from the main EU Institutions. The CERT-EU cooperates with other CERTs in the Members States and with specialised IT security companies in order to respond to information security incidents and cyber threats.

This Cyber Security Guidance is mainly addressed to national CSIRTs and CERT-EU partners to better defend their respective constituencies and help them deal with the cyber aspects of the corona crisis.
