There is currently a lack of integrated, cross-sectorial data analysis based on key relevant scenarios to inform new policy making regarding the potential for economic growth and job-creation linked to demographic change. This study will help to provide the foundations to develop and inform future EU and national/regional level policies as well as industry decision makers in order to stimulate silver economy initiatives which support creation of new markets, jobs and economic growth associated with an ageing population while providing options for ensuring that care remains accessible for everyone.
