The Rehabilitation Gaming System (RGS) is a virtual reality based system allowing elderly people to recover at home after a stroke. It specifically tackles motor disabilities of the upper extremities. The RGS technology was partly developed and tested within an AAL Joint Programme project and will be commercialised by the spin-off company Eodyne (Spain).

The RGS technology is an integrated science-based approach towards the training of the brain after a brain damage, such as stroke. RGS provides individualized virtual reality based training, helping patients to optimally recover their movement function and well-being, either at the clinic or at home. The RGS platform is an affordable solution that runs on a standard PC with internet connection and uses a motion capture sensor, such as the Microsoft Kinect.
