Results of the QuantERA Call 2017

QuantERA is a network of 32 organisations from 26 countries, coordinated by the National Science Centre, Poland, supporting research in Quantum Technologies (QT). With a budget of € 36 M, including co-funding from the European Commission, QuantERA will support international research projects in the field of QT. The results of a joint call for proposals for international research groups operating in QuantERA partner countries have now been published.

Launched by 30 funding QuantERA member organisations representing 26 EU countries, the QuantERA Call attracted 221 international research teams applying for over € 235 millions.

The list of projects recommended for funding includes 26 excellent international proposals in the field of quantum technology research:

Quantum communication
Quantum simulation
Quantum computation
Quantum information sciences
Quantum metrology sensing and imaging

A QuantERA Projects’ Launch Event will be organised on 24-25 April 2018 in Bucharest, Romania to officialise the implementation of the projects.
