Following some unprecedented challenges caused primarily by the coronavirus crisis, the digital event aims to take stock of the situation of Europe’s audiovisual ecosystem during the past very difficult months, and look at the future, discussing ways to ensure immediate recovery, but also long-term competitiveness of this key industry.
The Forum will be opened by a video-message by Commissioner Breton and will explore, in particular, how the sector can take full advantage of the opportunities in terms of support – including within Next Generation EU – to strengthen its competiveness, especially through enhanced cross-border cooperation and partnerships.
The event will be streamed live on Friday 4 September 2020, 15:30-17:00 both on the festival website and on our YouTube channel. Both platforms will be open to the wide public (no registration is needed) and questions will be allowed via Slido (instructions will be shared by the moderator at the beginning of the event).
For those attending the festival physically, a listening room to follow the discussion will be made at their disposal. In this case, due to limited capacity to ensure social distancing, the booking of a ticket is mandatory. You can get your ticket via this page.
